CashInk

Personal finance, simplified.

Coming soon to iOS.

CashInk is a personal finance tracker for iPhone, with Android to follow. You record what you earn and what you spend, and it keeps the arithmetic straight — so the question "can I afford this?" has an answer you can trust rather than a guess.

What CashInk does

Every account you hold in one place — current, savings, cash, credit, investment — with a running balance derived from the transactions themselves, never typed in and never drifting. Spending is grouped into categories you control, so you can see where the month actually went instead of where you meant it to go.

Budgets track a limit over a period and tell you how much of that period is left, not just how much money is. Savings goals earmark part of a balance toward something specific, so money you have already promised elsewhere stops looking spendable. Recurring rules put rent, salary and subscriptions on the calendar before they arrive rather than after.

A household can share one space: everyone sees the same accounts, transactions and budgets, while each person keeps their own dashboard. Your data is stored on our servers in the European Union and synced across your devices, and each device keeps its own copy, so if your connection drops while you are using the app, you can keep going and your changes sync once you are back online. Opening the app still needs a connection to sign you in.

Signing in with Google

Google is used for exactly one thing: signing in. When you choose "Sign in with Google", CashInk receives your email address, your name if you choose to share it, and a stable identifier that tells us you are the same person next time. That is the whole of it — no access to Gmail, Drive, Contacts or Calendar, and never your password. Signing in with Apple works the same way. The Privacy Policy sets out exactly what is collected, where it is stored and how to delete it.
